But, this week has been busy in terms of dreaming. I decided to change directions in my life and future entirely. I have about 14 different projects in my brain, all the time. It seems like this part of me -- the creative, the dreamer -- is finally on fire (after what feels like the longest rut). I'm excited for what's to come and I have BIG plans. I'm just hoping to finally carve out some time to make these things happen.
So, here's 5 Things I love this week:
1.This Hand-lettered wall on A Beautiful Mess is such a dream. I love that it looks textural and personal without being overwhelming. I'd love to use it to cover a large canvas too.
2. I really need some rain gear. In Minnesota, we get rain for about 3 weeks, then its done. In NJ, we mostly get rain instead of snow. So, there's been a lot of rain this week. Here's what I wish I would've been wearing (instead of my peacoat with an umbrella). (Jacket, boots)
3. I've always harbored an interest for book and paper arts, so this bookbinding tutorial on Design*Sponge was a pleasure to find, and definitely added to my "try this!" pile.
4. Umbrellas in Snow. I think it's an East Coast thing, and it makes sense because the snow here is really closer to rain, but every time it snows, everyone pulls out an umbrella! I love it! You stay dry and keep the wet, cold snow off your face.

5. My boyfriend, Keith. Since I started talking about making this big life change a couple of weeks ago, he has been part of every conversation and panic attack. He's constantly reassured and supported me (and edited countless versions of my cover letter.) I can honestly say, I couldn't do it without him!
Keith's family is here for the weekend, so I'm very excited to do some touristy things (and go to a Knicks game!) this weekend. We're finally getting some snow this morning, so we'll be sure to take lots of coffee breaks to warm up while we're out and about. What are your plans for the weekend? Are you going out and about? Or staying warm and cozy inside?
